Los Angeles, Baby!

What's not to love about the land of the stars?

Los Angeles, Grand Canyon, and Las Vegas map

We've all seen Los Angeles on TV, with its perfect beaches, gorgeous people, and congested traffic. Trust me; it's just as chaotic in real life, and boy, do the traffic jams make you appreciate pedestrian-friendly cities. However, it's not all bad; Los Angeles has some of the best sunsets, surf spots, nightclubs, food, and Santa Claus parades you'll ever experience. To fully enjoy L.A, make sure you visit iconic sites like the Walk of Fame, Griffith Observatory, Universal Studios, and Venice Beach. Another must is trying out the infamous In-N-Out Burger. Trust me; you won't regret it.

The Grand Canyon Extravaganza

What's so grand about this gaping hole, you ask?

Oh, where do I begin? The Grand Canyon is an otherworldly experience that leaves you in awe of its sheer size, ever-changing color, and natural beauty. I mean, how often do you see rocks that have been around for millions of years, and have withstood the test of time? With a depth of over a mile, it's easy to feel small in comparison, but that's what makes it even more captivating. The Grand Canyon provides endless activities like hiking, rafting, and camping. Want to really feel like a bird? You can even opt for helicopter rides that provide an exceptional view from above. This canyon has something for everyone.

Lost in Las Vegas

What happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas.

Las Vegas: Grand Canyon West Rim Tour

Las Vegas is where you can lose yourself in a world of gambling, shows, and a good buffet. Casinos are everywhere, and they're all competing to lure you in with games, drinks, and endless entertainment. If gambling isn't your thing, don't worry. You can always catch a show from the likes of Celine Dion, Britney Spears, or the Blue Man Group. And who can forget the neon lights, the Bellagio fountain shows, and the Mirage volcano. Want to get a little wild and adventurous? There are frequent helicopter tours that whisk you away to the Grand Canyon for a breathtaking view like no other. Las Vegas, baby, it's an adventure in itself.

How to make the most of the ride home

6-Day Los Angeles, Grand Canyon (South/West Rim), Las Vegas Leisure

By now, I'm sure all this travel has left you exhausted yet exhilarated. Don't worry; we have one last stretch from the Grand Canyon back to Los Angeles. Depending on your preference, you can take a shuttle or rent a car to make the journey more comfortable. However, I suggest taking the scenic route via Route 66, also known as the 'Mother Road.' This road provides plenty of small towns, diners, vintage motels, quirky roadside sculptures, and photo opportunities. The 2,448-mile journey cuts through eight states and ends in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, where you can take a refreshing dip in the Pacific Ocean. The Long Beach and Huntington Beach have epic surfing spots if that's your thing.

And just like that, our wild adventure comes to an end. Hopefully, you had a chance to experience new things, make new friends, and make unforgettable memories. I'm sure this won't be the last time you visit these incredible destinations because there's always something new and exciting to discover.
